The Starting Five Grassroots Program is a holistic basketball training initiative designed for children aged 8 to 12 years. It aims to grow Kerala's basketball talent base and collaborates with schools to inspire and develop future basketball enthusiasts. Structured coaching programs for schools and young talents. S5 Trainer Support
The S5 Programme offers structured, high-quality basketball training via certified trainers and a professional curriculum. Choose your engagement level:
- Twice a Week Training: Focus on foundational skill-building and team coordination. (₹15,000/month)
- Four Times a Week Training: Intensive and immersive training with advanced drills and gameplay. (₹24,000/month)

Dartle App
Digital training support through our partner, the Dartle App. Starting Five provides this app support to schools, coaches, students, and parents. Coaches can access curriculum, give feedback, and much more, with the same information viewable by parents and players. Full year support is included with all Trainer Packages (availability in select overall program packages).

Events & Competitions
Starting Five organizes events like a Skill Contest (e.g., Jan 2026 for Classes 4 & 5) to assess fundamental abilities. For older students (e.g., Classes 6 & 7), we coordinate competitive matches against nearby teams, providing valuable game experience and fostering team spirit.

Expert Supervision
Supervisors from Starting Five conduct regular monthly visits to partner schools, ensuring quality and excellence. During these visits, they provide expert guidance to coaching staff, monitor program implementation, and offer personalized feedback to enhance training standards and ensure consistent student progress.

Community Engagement (Neighbourhood Model Add-On Option)
Schools partnering with Starting Five can choose to extend the S5 Programme to students from nearby communities through our Neighbourhood Model, with two flexible options:
Weekday Add-On (4-Day Model):
- An extra 1-hour session conducted after regular school coaching between 4:30 PM and 6 PM, exclusively for neighbourhood students.
- Fee Collection: Handled by Starting Five.
- Revenue Share: 50% to school, 50% to Starting Five.
Weekend Model:
- One-hour sessions held on Saturdays and Sundays for neighbourhood students.
- School Role: Permit use of facilities on weekends.
- Revenue Share: 50% to school, 50% to Starting Five.
This model helps schools engage the local community, utilize their facilities efficiently, and generate shared revenue. (This add-on option is available in select program packages).
